KCBS, as we call it, is the largest International organization of barbecue enthusiasts.
People who love barbecue are those who belong to KCBS. Our membership is comprised of barbecue enthusiasts at all levels. There are KCBS members in all 50 states, most Canadian Provinces, and 8 other countries. Some members are backyard grillers, while others are National Barbecue Champions. Some members operate restaurants, while others are regular BBQ customers. Cookers, manufactures, suppliers, and retailers are some of the KCBS enthusiasts.
The KCBS membership includes a subscription to the monthly newspaper, The Bullsheet. The Bullsheet alone is worth the $30 annual membership.
KCBS sanctions over 50 barbecue contests each year. KCBS sanctioned contests are from Florida to British Columbia. There varieties of meats and the styles of cooking reflect the diversity of great barbecue across the US
If you decide you want to be a member of the KCBS you will receive a membership certificate and window decal and ,of course, monthly issues of the KC Bullsheet. You have to promise to faithfully uphold the tenets for a Barbecue fanatic. You will be asked to promise to cook and/or eat as much Barbecue as the law allows having as much fun as possible.
