Lee could you guess at the proportions of the liquid ingredients in the marinade and increase them a bit until it dilutes the way you want it? Another simple option is injecting less over all right? I know that you can use sugar and sour to counteract heat but I'm no expert about that and wonder about how it would change the flavor you are after. I vote for injecting less product and maybe leaving some plain. Mary Ann
